Is SPIDER an exclusive or non exclusive network?
Actually Spider is a non exclusive network, however our aim is to have a limited number of members in a region, city or country . We try to have a good mix of members with different strengths.
In Germany e.g. you need only 4 agents:
- 1 in Hamburg for seafreight
- 1 in Bremen for seafreight
- 1 in Frankfurt for airfreight
- 1 in Munich for airfreight
While we think that 1 agent in Cambodia or 2 agents in Vietnam (Hanoi and Saigon) are a fair relation. We have a close look on your application and will decide individually on accept.
How much is the annual membership fee?
The annual membership fee is US$ 700,00 only. Which is for 12 months and not charged by the calendar year.
Note: for countries with a low GDP we do have special membership offers. Please do not hesitate to request for an individual offer. The security fund is non negotiable.
How do I pay the membership fee?
Payment can be effected most convenient by Pay Pal
Are there any other fees like initial registration?
We don't charge any registration fee, however it is the duty of each new member to pay US$ 200,00 for the security fund. Those funds are non refundable.
Does Spider organize meetings?
Yes, we will invite you for our annual meetings which will be held in interesting places which are easy to reach for everybody.
What is the security fund?
The Spider Network Security Fund allows members to do business with other members of our network without being afraid of bankruptcy of one of your businesspartners.
