About Spider

Do I get business from the network? What can I expect ?

It is our aim to choose members who are strong in marketing and business developing ideas, especially between members.
We encourage every member to use the opportunity provided by Spider.
There is no guarantee of new biz, it all depends on each member how it represents its company and communicates openly.


Which requirements do I have to fullfill for membership?

International networks, especially Spider, are designed for small and medium sized independent companies to act globally and stay competitive in a globalized world.
To be honest, "one man shows" are neither in the interest of our members nor "transport factories" with hundreds of employees and dozens of branch offices.
Decide for yourself, whether you will be part of a self growing network or of a self administrative network. If you think it is important to carry one´s life in one´s hands, then spider will be the right answer if it comes to network !
We believe in the strength, the independence and inventiveness of our members.

Do I have to work with Spider members exclusively?

Nobody expects it to work exclusively with Spider members, of course.
Each member has already long term and confidence partners in certain countries and his key markets. Keep them! Maybe in the future they will be reliable partners with Spider, too.
We will stimulate contacts between members to develop new business or find alternatives to existing.
Feel encouraged to step beyond the beaten track.


Is the attendance of the meetings obligatory?

No, it is mandatory to participate in our annual meetings.
However those meetings are the key column of our activities.
Having a face to the name brings confidence and helps to remind the company.
We will keep the cost low, enabling everybody to join this important event.


Why should I join Spider? What is the main difference to other networks?

More than any other networking associations , Spider focuses on niche markets and will offer agents in countries other networks don't provide.
This will allow you to quote on inquiries you haven't been able to offer in default of an appropriate agent.
If your company is located in a so called "less developed country" (please don't take this personal), please contact us for an individual membership offer, we are looking forward to have you with us.


Why should I join a network like Spider?

In this globalized world the demand for transport grows steadily. The big companies become larger, sometimes merge to become even bigger.
Let´s visualize this with balls. Those balls exceed, but the bigger those balls are, the more place is left in between those balls. This is where our members are home.

There is a Chinese saying:
When the storm comes, some build walls but others install wind mills.

Let Spider be part of your personal windmill.


Dear members and future members of Spider,
We often say that "the best things in life never change". Long term relationships, it does not depend on personel or business, are often much stronger than a short business corporation of only a couple of months. You all have made your own experience with corporations in the past. Spider should be the next step to professionalize and stabilize your business base in the future, by giving you opportunities to meet business partners like yourself worldwide.

We try to find partners by comparing the similarities of their work as of their personality as well. There are a lot of differences in the world, but what keeps us together are our similarities as e.g. the will to succeed, the will to do a good job so that a further recommendation is our next business, the will of building a lifetime personal business center that with its sustainable and durable establishment secures a better life standard for you and your family.

In all other networks you will have a melting pot of people who go on with each other, well or not so well. Spider is different. We have our own high standards of finding the right partners for our other partners, because this is our job and our obligation and responsibility to our Spider partners. I will give you an example. Another network sends Inquiries for a membership to a businesspartner in city A. The network CEO promises to take only one agent at a time in each region. The patner in City A feels flattered to be the only one in his region and was honourably selected by the network CEO. He tries to find out what this network has to offer and chooses his City, just by accident, to find businesspartners....
... and then, what a wonderful thing happened, his meanest competitor in his City A whas choosen to be the second "only one" in City A.

This is disgusting, but nevertheless happens from time to time. This is why we want to know who is our reliable and proofed partner and who´s not ? We don´t want our members to be annoyed or disappointed about our work, we want them to be part of our work, because we work for your business success.
